Germany’s enduro prodigy, Manuel Lettenbichler, has won the 2020 Redbull Romaniacs. Aboard his KTM 300 EXC TPI, Lettenbichler managed to tame the 5 day event that’s often dubbed the toughest hard-enduro race in the world.

10 years on from his father’s famous win, Manuel pushed his KTM 300 EXC TPI to the limits. From day one, the German was locked in a neck and neck battle with Husqvarna rider, Alfredo Gomez. After recording a respectable time across the man-made obstacle course during the prologue, the competition moved to the steep, challenging forest that the Romaniacs is famous for.

This is where Manuel and his bike came into their own. The unrivalled power and handling of the KTM 300 EXC TPI allowing him to scale inconceivably steep slopes and after a gruelling 71 hours of racing, Manuel took the win with just a 2 minute advantage over his good friend, Alfredo.

The German rider now leads the provisional WESS standings with just three rounds remaining.
